Ultra Performance
Hey guys after that Flame Session on JHP I figured I would post a really good customer service exp.
Last week I was swaping my old engine (b16) into my new car (93 civic hb) I also had to get a new exhaust system after calling a number of people and asking them about the systems somebody from this sight sugested I try Ultra Performance, you guys have never steered me wrong so I gave them a call and talked to Jeff He told me about the thermal cat back and the tanabe super racing spec. The Ricer in me made me get the tanabe and they gave me a great exhaust , the price was great (545 with 3 day shipping) the exhaust got here a day early very
Then the the problem came ... when I was trying to get the exhaust to fit it wouldent it was too big .... they had sent the wrong exhaust my mind filled with all the ways i was about to be screwed in this deal restocking fee's paying to shipp it back or just a "hey sorry bro we cant help you " much to my suprise and delight when I called on monday they were very quick to fix the problem ... it went something like this
me: "Hey is jeff there ?"
UP: "He is with a customer, Can I help you ?"
me "I hope so, I ordered an exhaust system from you last week and I got the wrong one."
UP: " Ok let me get your phone number and look the order up "
me: "404-386-****"
UP: " Ok here it is, Ok what I am going to do is have fed ex come out and pick up the exhaust, and when we get that one back I will send out the correct one"
That easy I was very suprised, Today I got a phone call from them to let me know that they had recived the exhaust and they were going to be sending the correct one out Today or Monday. Do I wish I had the right one to start with hell yeah .. but I understand that sometimes mistakes are made .. and ULTRA PERFORMANCE has gone out of their way to correct their error and make it right
I would do business with them again in a heart beat !!!! JUST THOUGHT I WOULD PASS ON THE GOOD STUFF AS WELL AS THE BAD

well, given that there are few replies and enlight of the Jdmhondaparts thread, i guess this shows that the statistics are correct: if you receive bad customer service 22 people will hear about it. but, if you receive good customer service only 4 people will hear about it.

I bought a sparco hub kit from them, no problems at all...also asked some Q's about sparco seats/sliders/brackets, he gave me an estimate and said, "Just call us, we'll hook you up" whatever that's supposed to mean.
