Alright, last night I got in my car to go out, and it wouldnt start. This morning before i left for work, it started fine. Other than me accidentally hittin the gas and flooding the engine before the car was started (which I dont think I did), could there have been anything else that could have caused this to happen?

hitting the gas pedal before you start it wouldnt hurt anything, that was back in the carburated era.... if I had to guess its an ignition problem like main relay or ignitor. If its fine now you really can't test it either way until it starts acting up again other than checking ecu for codes.

hmm... i guess that shows how much i know about cars. alright, thanks for the help

 

no biggie... just when it starts acting up again pull some plugs and check for spark.... listen for the priming of the fuel pump when you turn the key and the click of the main relay... sniff the cylinders for gas... this is all assuming that the engine is cranking fine but not starting.... then take it from there depending on what you find
