Who's running a 1 gallon fuel cell under the hood. Experience? pics?
I want to dump my stock gas tank, and simplify things by running a 1 gallon fuel cell under the hood. Anybody with experience?
I was thinking about putting it where the windshield washer fluid used to be. Should tuck right in there, nice and tidy.
Stripped out drag car for the track.
Something exactly like this.

there was no need to make another thread for this. But it will work, just realize that you'll also need an inline or in cell pump, new fuel lines, fittings and probably some sort of thermal barrier around the cell if its in the engine bay. Look around at Jaz and a couple other manufacturers... there are many different sizes and options available for 2 gallon and under.

It's a strip car. I believe it's actually pretty common practice to relocate the fuel cell. I was just hoping to find out more information on it.
Do you have experience with one or pics to share?
