I bought some type-r LCAs and some itr shocks too off a local guy. They looked good, so I bought them. Once checking them out, the two front shock part numbers didn't match. I did a bit more research and I know one of the shocks is from an itr and one I have no clue where its from. Here are the part numbers

Front Left shock : 51602-ST7-2010-M1 (this one is ITR)

Front right shock : 51602-ST3-C040 (what is this one???)






Here is them both together: the Type-r is on top and the unknown one is on the bottom. The springs are even different!


I want to install this soon but if its going to get done, it might as well get done right.

51602-ST8-9XX is RS/GS/LS/GSR shock L.FR. No part number you gave exists.

 

If thats not a part number that does not exist then I have no clue how to explain the pictures! lol

 

Hope you didn't pay too much. Used OEM shocks aren't worth much unless they are new takeoffs, and those appear to be well-used (and non-matching).

 

The shock with SR3 is from a mid-90s Civic.
