I think standard practice is to change the belt between 70k and 90k miles. That's with a stock cam.

Anybody else have any recommendations? Also, is there any other part that can be replaced while I am replacing the timing belt?

Typically, you change the water pump along with the belt. Might as well change all the drive belts (alternator, AC, power steeing) since you've got to take them off anyway.

Better safe than sorry. Change it sooner rather than later. I do mine at 70,000. If you break that belt, you're looking at a lot of damage to the valvetrain.

replace your cam seal as well. however, valve cover gaskets and grommets won't huit either.
