195/55/15 or 205/50/15 I would assume this is on a 88-91 Civic

The stock tire size on the '88-91 CRX was 175/70-13 or, for the Si model, 185/60-14. The best tire size for those 15" wheels is 195/50-15. The other sizes mentioned are all too big. Stick with 195/50-15.

If you'd like to see why 195/50-15 is the best match, all you have to do is look at the outer diameter of these various sizes:

175/70-13: 22.65" (stock)
185/60-14: 22.74" (stock)
195/50-15: 22.68" (+0.1 percent)
195/55-15: 23.44" (+3.5 percent)
205/50-15: 23.07" (+1.9 percent)
195/60-15: 24.21" (+6.9 percent)

Apparently you're just not bothering to listen because clearly you don't understand this statement: The proper tire size depends on the car they will be used on, NOT just on which wheel they will be mounted on.

If you take 15" wheels from an Integra and use them on a CRX, you need to get the right tire size for the car they will be going on - in other words, the CRX. The fact that the wheels came from an Integra doesn't matter.

For 15" wheels on a CRX, the best matching tire size to use with 15" wheels is 195/50-15.

I can't say it any clearer than that.
