any one used Beryllium Copper seat on your head?
i looking for some exp. on using these. Are they reliable? i heard that they can drop out if you use NOS because of the temp change. any info would be helpful.
Ber seats are rarely used anymore they are too toxic.Ampco 45 seats are used mostly now for intakes and a more copper based seat for exh.
I have never heard that but I have never done a big spray head. With the proper press fit on the seats I don't think it would be an problem,I would use something like .008-.010 instead of .006 -.008. High heat applications are their main reason for use, along w/the softer surface that treats Ti valves better.
