Photoshoot: 1991 MR2 Non-Turbo Excitement???
I did a photoshoot yesterday for a friend. He built it up all by himself.. it is a USDM MR2 that was N/A and swapped with a JDM turbo motor. Dyno'd at 380whp@19.5psi@6600rpm, it leaned out at 6600 rpm due to the neglect to provide 12 gauge wiring to the Supra TT fuel pump. i before he took it down to a safe tune @ 15psi with an unknown level of HP. We're assuming about 350 WHP or so with ricer math

Nice MR2 -- obviously Honda inspired with the Honda pieces on the inside. What's so special about the ITR shift boot in contrast to the JDM MR2 shift boot? Yellow stitching?

my first instinct is to call it CRAP.
but it really is a neat design.
by toyota...not your friend.
if the front were dropped more, and the rear wheels were wider/deeper, i would have given it a thumbs up. oh and i hate orange on yellow, so clear front lenses would be nice.
