Default Throttle body spacer

I have an 01 L4 honda accord. I am looking to add a throttle body spacer to my car. I was wondering what kind of horsepower and torque gains can I expect to see? I am not
expecting any ridiculously high numbers. I also want to know if adding a throttle body spacer will give me the same amount of extra power as adding a short ram air intake? It if does, I would like to avoid adding an intake because of the increased engine noise. Thanks in advance.

From what I heard, TB spacer is total junk. I would save that money to get a performance intake. SRI tends to get louder are lower RPM while CAI gets louder at higher RPM due to the longer tubing. So take your pick.

I got CAI, pretty quiet. Same as stock. But when I am in the mood, rev it up and hear the engine roar. I love it. Though I wish I have gotten an SRI. The sound is sooooo addictive.

TB spacers... There's debate on them. They won't hurt if that's what you mean. It ma help, but you won't feel it.
As for intakes, if you get one, get a header, high flow cat, and exhaust to go with it, or it's useless. Oh and, get it tuned. Otherwise, the mods will be pointless because our car is OBD2, which is a self-learning system, and it teaches itself to go back to stock settings when things are altered. Get a P28 ECU, OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness, and get it tuned. Is it auto or manual?

Oh and, if you don't want intake noise, just get a K&N drop-in filter. Of my few mods, it's the #1 that has paid for itself.

Throttle body spacer is waste of money i purchased an obx on ebay and it was garbage. Didnt do much gave me a rolling idle and i made sure i had no leaks. I dont recommend the only advice i can give dont waste money on low dollar upgrades. Save your money for the big one (h22, turbo, hell maybe N02) I learned the hard way.

Yeah weird I have a surging high idle too, with the OBX? Wonder why, but I'll tell you what. The sound it makes is cool, the vortex design inside of the spacer creates this turbo sound. It's like the square root of a turbo. Everytime you step on the gas you get a turbo sound so you can step everytime you shift gears and people thing your T/C lol. Until I am turbocharged, Im probably going for S/c ANyway

get other mods first. TB spacers work on cars where the coolant warmer for the TB has already been bypassed.....
