Default Wiring Hell b16a crx (Pics)

Hey guys and gals...it has been a while but I am back working on the rex and had some quick questions (or not so quick)

So the engine has been in for some time now and it fires (or coughs ur preference) but doesnt turn (still a good sign of course since it isnt completely wired and im missing my fuel line...i know right) the reason why this is taking me so long is that my decision in buying a junk yard rex no matter how cheap it was is biting me right in my culo. No fuel line connector to injectors, missing half of harness (or so it seems)

Now I have an 88 si....my engine is a jdm b16 BUT it was shipped over and put into a hatchback (im pretty sure another ef). Long story short I have missing connectors on my drivers side and I'm wondering if I need a new engine harness which i hope will fix the problem or since it was a junkyard rex...there is wiring missing. I know DX's have the female connection to this plug you will see right below, but i cannot see where the hell there would be one for my si through the firewall. here it is...

I've been trying to figure it out in the manual but i guess ive gotten rusty. this connector actually goes from the engines wireharness and should connect to the firewall...im confused. also not seen in the picture is another green connector below the fuel injectors that needs a friend as well as the one smaller white connector that is attached to the big one.

ok other piece which is attached to the big connector...gives u a better look as well for the driverside

this is a pic of more of the engine's harness (i have no idea where these wires come/go to)

it is good i am going through my old pics cause now i remember i was missing a piece from the side of the engine...i cant remember where of the top of my head but here is a pic that i took...maybe above the tranny?

Let me know what you guys think...sorry for the terrible pics...the car is actually 30mins from me in Philly so I havent been able to update....thanks

i think you have the wrong engine harness in that car. that first pic there is no matching plug for that right. but there is a small spuarish plug that goes into the car? thats 88 only 89-91 is that round style thats in the first pic. the green plug is for the fuel injector resistor box. the thing missing in the last pic i would guess to be the upper radiator hose housing?? but if i were you i would try to get a nice uncut 88 only si harness.

the green one if its round it goes to the alternator if its square it goes the the resistor box.

I would highly recommend finding another harness from a junkyard! It would make your life so much easier.

The plug in the first pic looks to me like the one on the passenger side. My theory is that you say the connector in the second pic is attached to it, at this connector looks like one of the distributor plug from a DX.

That said, find the SI harness. Converting a DX harness would be a lot more trouble.

i just did a wire tuck on my rex. do yourself a favor and get a clean unmolested harness. Dealing with someone else's wiring skills is not fun at all. And much more time consuming then you plan.
