OK guys, here's the drill. I put the HFP suspension on my '07 Si and didn't like the negative camber (I autocross the car) so I put a set of Skunk2 plates on the rear, set the suspension at 0 negative camber, 0 toe, and the car could be forced into moderate oversteer. Worked great.

Jump forward 6 months & 3000 miles. While changing the rear rotors last night I noticed a LOT of play in the rear suspension, both sides. I pulled the upper control arms (Skunk2) and found the bushings on both end wallowed out. I had used the lubricant supplied with the arm kit so I'm at a loss of why the bushings died in 6 months. Any ideas or did I just screw up the installation ???

 

I have the same problem and have contacted Brian from Skunk2 on 8thcivic.com via PM's. He suggested that i take pictures of the problem area and send them to him. This was about 2 months ago and i have yet to actually do this. You may have better luck on 8thcivic contacting him. Please due keep us updated here if you take any action towards the problem.

 

they had a problem with them. the some older kits were defective.
