gas gauge?

Default gas gauge?

Does this seem right after 200miles of driving? i just swap out the DX cluster gas gauge didnt work so now i have a si cluster and new fuel sending unit...does the pics work below?

No you should be at about a quator tank.

so the reading is incorrect...what to check? the cluster i got was a working one from a homies wreck si same for the sending unit...can i reposition the needle to qtr tank and see what happen or will that mess up anything?

Its all done by electrical, i have change the actual gas/temp unit many times on mine.
You can adjust it, cause when you turn back on it will rise to where it was.
Im assuming you float is stuck.
Your going to need to drop the tank and check out the float and make sure it doesent get stuck.

you might be able to pull the face off of the gauge cluster and move the needle down to where it should be and it will relearn the sending unit... Not sure if it will work for you but it does on the preludes

Wont work belive me i have 4 units laying around.
You cant even get the needles off.
They break very fragile.

I've been about there at 200 miles before. Its usually when I'm doing all highway, and I'll get ~260 to a half tank. Its possible that its right.
