h22 gap size

Hey I got a stock h22 . I just change the spark plugs and wires and it just started sputtering and backfiring on me. I have my spark plugs gaped at .044 Wat should my gap b at?

Are you certain you have your firing order correct?

Yeh its correct. I change the plugs/wires and it didn't sputter for like a day. Then it started to again. And the CEL is not on either.

.044 is correct gap

check your rotor and cap those should be replace with plug and wires

Try gapping the plugs down to .040 and see if it helps any. What plugs are in there?

possibly check your coil's primary and secondary windings. If that doesnt work.

Firing order is 1-3-4-2 BTW.
