Try 1000RR.net. I haven't gotten around to modifying mine yet but I'll be posting pics when I do. I have yet to find a fairing solution to make an aftermarket exhaust look right.

If that is true, then there is no comparison; the 2008 CBR1000RR is a better all around bike than the R1.

Now why you ask. The R1 is geared way way way too long in 1st. This makes finding that happy power rush till 100+ feel like you swapped your engine for a v-twin 250. Looks are dated in my opinion everyone is moving away from the 80's overzelous use of sharp angles. The bike looks OK but it is not "sexy" I guess is the term. The euro look that Honda stole from top of the line Duc's (even though they say its there gp design) is the new hawtness.
Moving on the power to weight is a key issue. The R1 plain doesnt make the torque (its like riding a 600 with a turbo) lots of topend but even to use the word lack of bottom really cuts on well every other I-4 1000. It is also not light in comparison to the 08 1KR and the R1 size is much larger hindering how nimble the bike performs.
If you want a winning "street-amature" track bike go Honda. The R1 is more suited for the track with its topend performance.
I love mine
