Default Type R valvetrain the same as the Type S?

OK, I know the cams are different, but wondering if the valvetrain is different. Are the dual valvesprings and retainers and valves the same in both?
Do anyone think the cams are worth the upgrade? Is anything else required if I just want to upgrade the cams to the type R? how much is the cams worth?
