going to be doing both sides soon.

Never did rear ones.


from what ive read. I can buy new bearings? in a whole new assembly.

not just the bearing.

Ide like to just RNR the whole assembly.

number 2?

not quite sure.

I'm not sure I really understood WTF you're asking, but yes, rear wheel bearings are a breeze to replace. You can either do just the bearings or you can just loosen 4 nuts and take the whole spindle off. It should only take about 2 hours if you have the parts and the right tools and a bunch of beer.
