need ideas for exhaust
whats up everybody.. i seem to find everything i need to know on here. but i can't seem to find anything for aftermarket exhaust or i'm not looking in the right section..
i have an all motor r and i need advice on what kind of exhaust. nothing to flashy but i would give that up for performace if it's worth it.. i'm looking at the apexi WS noir the flat black one. any advice for the all motor crowd would be great. thanks..

you would prob want a true 2.5 i.d. exhaust if you have work done to your r motor the apexi ws is a 2.5 o.d. so the inside i.d. is 2.36. Still is a nice sounding exhaust tho
2.5" or 3" mandrel-bends, 2 resonators, obx twin loop muffler SS sprayed flat-black (over etching primer). cost effective, reasonably quiet, durable, minimally restrictive.

i run a smsp header to a extended b-pipe with no cat. stock rear section with flange steps cut out and made larger. maybe a little restrictive but very quiet for the cops and very mean at WOT

I had a 3" on my old all motor ITR. Thermal 3" exhaust and it sounded GREAT! If I had actually spent any money on the new ITR I would have done the same exhaust system even on a stock motor.

well it's no 2L but will be this winter. i have toda b's with hytech no cat, no resonator with the piping and stock muffler and it sounds good at WOT and quit enought around town i was just thinking i might be loseing some on the top end or mid range with that set up. so i was thinking i could gain some back with an exhaust designed for a vtec motor. thanks for sharing your ideas

i got it down too 3...spoon rear section, buddy club pro spec and t1r... i'm just not to hip on the blue tip of the t1r exhaust and for how much it cost it's that much better than the pro spec.

the pro spec is great, but it is ridiculously loud. Just so you know

If you want quiet then Fujitsubo RM01A or Mugen twin loop will be the way to go.
