What exactly do they do? Flash when you turn so people know which lane you are changing to? Similar to sidemarkers? When I was visiting the philippines, I saw a few accords with them on.

You ever seen old cadillacs or oldsmobiles.. they have em. When you flip on your turn signal they stay on, they turn off after you turn.
My old 04' maxima used to have em. They worked pretty well.
