Hey im trying to do some research on the SOHC ZC motor, i cant really find a clear answer on the hp/tq ratings, cause when people say 130 they always mention DOHC afterwards, and does any 1 have a Dyno sheet of a bone STOCK, SOHC ZC motor? some one please help me!! im trying to pick up one today maybe :D, thanks guys!!

 

sohc zc 130hp is same as d16z6 (vtec)

There is also d15b that makes about the same too

Then there is sohc zc non vtec (like d16A6) like 108hp?


I like the d15b search that "d15b" in the 92-2000 civic section and select archived

88-91 sohc zc non v tec has 127 hp, because of different cam and ecu. googl honda d series

 

damn oh well i might just do d16z6 :'(

That is not correct:

the non vtec sohc makes 118hp

the non vtec dohc makes 130hp

but I think dohc is 127

 

dohc is about 127, sohc is 118. EF5 posted above cam ewith Dohc as well
