All other parts not listed but that are on the car are for sale (unless otherwise noted). Make an offer on just about anything.

DuraTrax Nitro Quake Monster Truck. $90.00 OBO

Needs steering servo and receiver/75 mhz crystal to be complete, also needs a body.
Comes with Duratrax throttle servo, 2 channel Futuba transmitter, battery box and 2 on/off switches.

Reason for selling: I've decided Nitro's aren't for me. I was told it runs, but have never tried it out for myself. I've decided to cut my losses and let her go. The guy who was selling it was getting out of the Nitro Scene.

If it doesn't sell soon, I'll buy the $30.00 worth of parts to get it goin and bash it until something breaks But I see no reason why it won't run, it even had a lil bit of Nitro left in the tank ;

I'll trade for:
aftermarket cam gears for my GSR
Set of ITR valve springs
Front camber kit for 94+ GSR (prefer skunk2)

BTW: Since these pics were taken, I've cleaned her up quite a bit

Note: The car is not included in the sale, just for size reference. This thing is pretty big

First off, I didn't do it. I'm in the mood to type at the moment, so I'll relay the story... Or actually, just plagarize what I've already said..So does that mean I'm really plagarizing it, if I said it?

Ehh, who cares...

----------------------------

The story of how I got this car
So, the complete story on the GSr I bought.... Eli worked with a woman who had a 1996 GSR coupe. Her husband, the previous saturday totaled it: Drunk driving. They only had liability so it was a total loss. She said they were going to have it hauled off. She also mentioned most of the damage was in the back and the front (engine and all) looked fine.

So I set up to go look at it, bringing some cash with me.

The guy (her husband) was pretty much a n00b... He was tellin me all sorts of stuff about this engine and I was just playing along like I didn't know much at all. I didn't want him to know that I knew more about that car than he knows about his own butt. I was just trying to get it as cheap as possible.

When we get down to price time, I asked him how much.

n00b: I dunno, $(ninja edit)?
awesome incarnate (aka me): I was thinking $(ninja edit)?
n00b: Sure, why not?!
awesome incarnate (aka me): (in my head) "damn, I should have said $800.00!" (ninja edit)

So, I go out to the Xb (yes I didn't DARE drive my teg there) and get the cash, rejoice quietly and feel slightly bad that I got such a good deal and the guy pretty much got ripped, but abotu 1.25 seconds later was feeling awesome again for getting a killer deal.

The End
----------------

Thats how I got it. yes, I got a good deal. yes the guy was ripped. No, I don't feel bad. Yes i'm trying to make money, but it's going for a good cause! I want to take my wife out on a cruise. Any money from this is going towards that.

Now, buy parts! Honda-Tech has about a week before this stuff hits t3h Ebay. It'll definetly sell there, no problem.
