just want to verify what i've heard. you can put a 92-95 civic tranny on a 97 civic no problem? they just bolt up to eachother?

yeah it works, i put both a '98 CX tranny and '00 EX tranny in a '95 hatch, they went in just fine. reverse is also true.

 

yup!!! all D series match it up!!!

There are two D series 88 thru 91 (Cable clutch)

And 92-00 (Hydro clutch)

Anyway all D trannys match all 88-00 Civic but cable to hydro or hydro to cable needs modification . If your civic is 92 + and the tranny also, you dont have any problems!
