Default b18c5 semi-built.. couple questions..

so here is my setup and then ill ask the few questions i have..
other than that here is my motor setup and some pics
motor setup:
BLOCK
01 ITR
jdm itr p7300 pistons
acl full race bearrings
honda piston rings
arp rod bolts,headstuds,flywheel bolts
8 pound flywheel
act heavy duty clutch
hytech replica 2.5 header
HEAD
supertech springs and retainers
valve job
ITR intake Manifold ported a bit
ITR TB
s2pro1 cams
MFactory catch can
FUEL
blox FPR
ALL -6AN fuel lines with earls inline filter
walbro 255
TUNING
running chipped p28 with basemap for setup (crome)

TRANSMISSION
b16a2 trans with LSD

anyways, I got it started for first breakin and ran it for 20 minutes with non-detergent oil at about 2k rpm..

the air intake temp sensor is not working and i think its because we had to do the conversion from the obd2 single cam wiring for it to the OBD1 plug which is changing a few wires... and they may have been crossed..

questions
1) my intake manifold is reading heat of about 105-110 degrees and im curious is this about normal temp? or is that cuz the AITS is not working?

2) block is reading about 255 degrees around the cylinder area but temp sensor is reading normal and fan is turning on properly? is this too hot?

3) car is not idleing hardly at all and dies out?? is this because of the lack of tune with so much work done and so much fuel? or lack of because of basemap? or what? any ideas..

so i plan on getting this dyno-tuned in the next week or so and not driving it untill it is.. BUT im trying to working out all the kinks.

1 code it has is for air intake temp sensor (10)...

need some insight from the more experienced bunch then myself when it comes to these things before i get it down there for tuning...

thx in advan!

those cams are very agressive maybe you need little more of compression to have fun

To answer number 3, if I remember correctly... on those cams you are bound to have a real messy idle until it's tuned properly

1) get that sensor fixed. unless you know exactly what temperature your intake manifold is, the sensor is not going to read properly. that temperature is way too low for a motor thats been running.

2) sounds about right. as long as its not overheating and the fan clicks on, youll be fine. i might suggest buying an oem thermostat just for safe measures.

3) its going to take a while to get those cams to idle correctly. whats happening is that the fuel map you have is allowing the motor to run way too rich at idle; those cams have such large primary lobes and overlap. proper tuning will get them to idle at around 900-1100rpms. without tuning, there isnt a whole hell of a lot that you can do to get it right. the motor is bound to die.

thx for the info and input, kinda reaffirming what i thought about the tune, figured it had something to do with all the fuel dumping into it..

well i have a heat reading gun with a laser that u point and it reads heat lol and that what the intake read after about 20 minutes of the initial warmup, have not started since until it gets tuned.

block was staying under 50% HEAT and the fan was turning on, just figured it would read low 200's not mid.
