DOHC ZC problem???

Default DOHC ZC problem???

Well let me get to the point...
1.the car turns on wen it wants to...
2. it idles alot...
3.wont pass 3000 RPMs even if u punch the gas all the way in....

need help to fix it...

please help need to get it running.....

it shows the distributor code...
but i fixed it....
i put a new one,....

I had this same problem, but it fixed itself with a restart.
im certain its an ECU problem

i had the same problem with mine and it happen to be the dirty *** fuel filter i just connected the fuel line direct from the fire wall to the fuel rail and it worked then i bought a new filter

It's been said before, but try to clear the code out by resetting your ECU. You're in limp mode because of the code.

If that doesn't work, try the cap and rotor. BTW, you said "distributor code" and there are a few of them. Which one was it exactly?

Also consider pulling the injectors and letting them soak in injector cleaner, minus the electrical connections.
