best lowering spring for 89 crx
I have a 89 crx with a b18a.. I bought it with weapon r coil overs witch I hate, car rides like trash and it has real bad wheel hope.. At current time car is slamed.. I like the look not the ride.. ebay has alot for spring any of them any good?? when I switch springs I'm, also going with new performance struts I have not decided yet.. hope to get some info so I don't buy trash springs.. I like 1/4 mile racing and also a little handling if that helps
Well allot of people are mad fr the jdm stuff like Tein, Zeal, and apexi etc.. But When my Teins go out, I will get Skunk2. I'm really curious to see how they perform, They're really inexpensive too, I think only like 900.00 for the Pro C version.
I was looking at skunk2 lowering springs and there like under $200(cheap imo)My advice would be to talk to some local guys in your area and go for rides in there cars with the different setups....See what you like and go from there
I hate to say it but alot of the cars around my way have coil overs and ride just as bad..I want to buy a set of springs that I will be happy with so the money part with reason is not the question.. my cavalier I had eibachs on it and it road and handled great and was about 1 1/2 lower I tring to stay around that area

I really like regular lowering springs over coil overs any day of the week, if the car is to be used on the street. On a lowering spring, you get a specific progressive rate which can provide a predictable style of handling and comfort.
On my 89 crx, i use a suspension techniques coil set that lowers 1.7 inches along with a set of Tokico blue struts. The car also runs ST sway bars, i am very with the upgrades.
