Default Www.fastbrakes.com

I was looking for a brake set up for my future jdm h22a motor/tranny swap in my hatch soon. I found the front and rear kit using 11 inch rotor all around. Wondering if this is a good kit to use? I know I would have to use 15/16 master cylinder from a civic ex or better yet a acura integra brake booster and cylinder upgrade. Only concern I have with the acura bb/mc is the h22a intake manifold might hit it. Although is fastbrakes way to go?

You probably will be more then ok with a ex front setup and good pads in the rear.

Maybe you might want to step up to a 1" MC

Some h22 guys will probably chime in to help.

Well, I've had the FB 11" front kit on my car for several years now, and have nothing bad to say about it. If you have the $$, I don't see any reason not to get the full kit that you want. Since I have a ZC, I'm not sure on clearance - if you don't get a response here on point, might be worth it to call Brian at FB and see if any of his other customers have run into the same issue.

If you do get the kit, Brian's a great guy to work with.

You DONT need to change your MC or BB......It will be JUST fine. If its an Si anyway......

The only thing you will need to do for your goals with your car is get good pads and better rotors. Changing the rear to disk is quite unnecessary.

Hey, i have the 11" fastbrakes kit and its good. Parts fit like oem, And works like a charm!

Yes you would def need to upgrade your MC when doing the big brakes up front!
A 15/16's or 1" will do and help get the firm pedal feel back.

Oh, i didn't buy the fastbrakes rotors because the price is crazy!
Just buy brembo blanks and save alot of $$

You don't need brembo blanks...just buy fastbrakes' 11" blank rotors. They are basically vw sirocco (s/p?) rotors. I run the 11" wilwood kit up front with blank rotors and teg rear discs.

Please remember that you only stop as fast as your tires can help you. You can have a GREAT brake setup, but if you're running 13" steelies you negate any benefit of the brakes.

the size of the rim has nothing to do with stopping power you can have 13's with racing slicks with stock brakes and have better stopping power than a well setup car on shity street tires i think that's what you where getting at thought o yeah in your case i would use falkin azienes they are cheap and have a lot of grip that or hankook rs2's either are great street/auto x tires
