Hey i have a 1998 civic ex i have just done a motor swap (y8) I disconnected the green sensor on the power steering hose. I cannot find the plug in for it now. Anyone know wat i am talkin bout or have any idea where it might be? Thanks in advance. Here is a pic of wat i am talking about..

Did you cut it off by mistake? Usually all the plugs are close to where they should plug into so I'd check the engine harness area around the power steering plug.

 

no i didnt cut the wire harness. I looked for it but i cannot feel or see it anywhere.

 

THats wierd man what is that sensor for anyways? A powersteering pressure switch?

 

yea i believe so because it is on the power steering hose.

 

anyone have an idea where it may be? Also, my CEL is on would this be the reason for it being on?
