evasivemotorsports has the hks high power exhaust for the s2000 listed 00+ models. about to buy a used one --will the exhaust already fitted to a ap1 will fit the ap2? i have a 2005 model. was gonna call them tomorrow just thought i get a quick reply from someone who has one from here. thanks

should be no problem, but hang on to the stock hangers - i wasn't happy with the HKS rubber hangy things.
Also, i'm going to get the stock AP2 tips welded on to the HKS mufflers. Those round tips look weird from the back of an AP2 (oval cut outs)

 

i heard people doing that. i guess i have to see it in person first

 

yup - it looks sweet form the side, but straight on from the back, it looks kinda lacking. If you rip the inside out of the AP2 tips, it slots right over the top of the HKS tip, but i think i'm gonna weld mine.
You are gonna love the sound. Though i also have a test pipe on, so not sure what they sound like with a cat on.

 

was looking at the invidia but i hear it has bad drone. the sound reminds me of the old school apexi dunk too. the loud and obnoxious. heheh no offense to owners who have one. i never had one nor heard in person. but i saw a lot of the videos of it on you tube. o well..
