Default Is North west usa safe for my itr ?

Im planning a road trip on the americain west coast and i was wondering if i should drive the itr of the beater. Would it be safe to leave the itr outside at night ? Mostly camping wich is not a big deal but we might sleep in a motel for a night or 2 if the weather is bad. Leaving from Vancouver and going to Seattle and Portland. Anyone knows a good place for surfing as a beginner in Oregon. Sorry for the grammar, im french

depends on where in the seattle area you are leaving it. it's definitely thief infested in the south end.

ITR isn't safe pretty much anywhere in the US, except for maybe Hilo, HI.

I would take the beater.

Low life is everywhere in US so I advice you to just leave the R at home and take your beater. Why rack up unnecessary miles by driving on junk US highways.

It's not like you're taking it to a known hotspot, plus it's only 2 days... Sounds like you're going to be sleeping close to it anyway.

Just keep in mind Seattle isn't a great spot.
