i was thinking on painting it red with blk moldings..... or just it repainted in the same cypress green w/blk moldings...... open for suggestions......

Paint it over the same color. Would hate to see it with red paint and green engine bay and door jams. Its not christmas.

 

If your gonna get a real good paint job, or you plan on cleaning the bay and spraying the whole car Id say go a new color, change is always good. But if your just doing the outside Id say same color or black. Think about where you want to go with rims and the rest of the car and base a color idea off that.

 

well imma get stage 2 paint....... meaning the door jams and the engine bay will be painted the same color as the car...... and as far as the rims go imma paint them white with the "H" center cap red...... :

 

Any color but teal... Teal is one of the lamest colors on the planet...

LOFL!!! Thats not what 2-Stage means... 2-Stage means they use a color coat and then the clear coat...

Hmmmm. Well figure out if your right about what 2 stage means or if the other users right. Theirs a big difference from one coat inside and out, and an ouside paint and clear coat. Id tell you to keep the same color and pay more for a nicer paintjob on the outside with tons of clear coat. But if your looking for a new color, id say pay the extra to get the door jams and engine bay done, but your still gonna have your color on the inside of the mirrors and the inside of your car. People are going to notice that no matter what you do.

And no one ever threw out the idea of teal. Who paints their car teal anyways? Fakin the funk if you ask me, OEM bg-33p FTW! Its impossible to find a sexier color then that.

Faking the funk?! LOFL!!! You are kidding right? Nobody asked you anyway... Nobody should paint their car teal including mfr's. I was suggesting that he paint it any color other than teal... Teal is a hideous color and should be reserved for early 90's Camaros, early 90's Chevy Trucks and girls cars... Just about any other color is "sexier" than teal...

I said painting a car teal would be faking the funk of the color my car is, the OEM honda paradise blue green pearl.

To each their own about the teal color. Just let it be known teal was NEVER brought up other then it being my icon and my signature which leaves me to believe your taking a hit at me. If you want to go a new color id say blue. Ive seen a lot of all color civics, but all the CLEAN ones I see are already red. Ive been waiting to see a car of another color EXTREMELY clean.

 

Paint it Midnight Black Pearl. It will look very awesome.

In case you werent sure, "faking the funk" is a reference to fake or knockoff parts, and not painting a car a certain color. If someone used a Ferrari or Lambo color to paint their car it wouldnt be like they were trying to make their car look like an exotic.

I may be prejudiced against that color, but thats because its ugly. Since you think I am coming after you, do you have self-esteem problems? I was never taking a stab at you. I saw the thread title and immediately thought "OMG any color but teal". Its typically the people that have purchased a car that color who end up liking it, and even then many of them plan to paint the car a different color. Most other people that dont own a car that color dislike it.

 

Well if you really thought that when you read the title my bad, you can see why i'd think you were talking to me Im sure.

But eh, I beg to differ. "Dont fake the funk" isnt a term thats ONLY used on someone who has a knock off part. It can be used to just say you cant copy the real ______ (in this case color) but with alliteration so people remember it.

Blaze Orange Metallic from the '07 RSX's would be sick, IMO.

 

I would repaint it with the same color.

Its a lot cheaper than a color change and if you get a good paint job you will love it just as much as if you were to change the color.

 

blaze orange metallic is a great color to paint it.

yes, if i get it painted a different color i am planning on spending more to get the door jams end engine bay same color as the car............... it is going to be PROFESSIONALLY painted no cheap *** ghetto paint job is going on here...... thnx for the concern...........lol
