another rear camber question
just heard some confusing things on rear camber... ok there's the washer trick to correct negative camber at rear wheels right??? I've just been told that the washer trick doesn't correct neg camber at all on lowered car... and it make sense... when you drop, let say, by 2.25inch... the top of the rear wheels tends to point outside the wheel wells, cause the UCA move upward, changing the angle of the UCA and making it longer than at stock height... so to correct this you'll have to heat/cut/weld the UCA...
BTW i just bought a rear ajustable camber kit... but i still wanna know who's right??

incorrect the wheel moves in when the ride hight goes down that is why the washer trick will work because it moves the upper control arm out pushing the top of the wheel outward correcting for the camber for the lower ride hight

If you have adjustable camber kit, just get an alignment. Or try to do it yourself by adjusting the uca outward (make it longer). There is no cutting/welding or anything, what instructor said was right. Have you never jacked your car up before? It's pretty obvious which way the camber goes when the suspension raises/lowers.

can this trick create negative camber?
i have a set of 13 offset wheels and wanna put them on with my current ride height...
i wanna create negative camber to fit them while being slammed...
can the washer trick do that?
