I have a thermal and actually don't like it. I bought it last year and only driven it in the summer. With a staight pipe, it makes a buzzing noise and even after my swap and with a gsr cat., it still makes a little buzzing noise but it's hardly noticable because of my engine. My b18c is even louder then the thermal at WOT. It will be up for sale this winter when my car goes back in storage.

Hello friends, I'm new here and also have a CRX exhaust question. My mom has an '89 CRX Si, and it needs a new exhaust. I was wondering what is the best(most powerful) exhaust I could put on that won't get her pulled over for being too noisy. I would preferably like it to have 2 tips instead of 1, but maybe a little bigger than the stock tips. I just want to replace the muffler itself, not a whole cat-back system. Any suggestions? That ^^HKS^^ looks nice. Do they sell just the muffler? Will it bolt directly onto the stock pipes? Thanks for any info anyone can provide. PEACE OUT!

I'm going with an Es muffler from jdmhondaparts.com and custom piping from the cat back...shouldn't end up being more than 200 bux totall...

Where's the cheapest place to buy a DC Sport catback? Or any other full catback for that matter? Thanks in advance.

I'd vote for a custom one. Buy a muffler, then take it to a shop, its usually cheaper that way.

I have the tanabe hyper medalion on my car. They also sell the race medalion with the canister style muffler. Mine sounds pretty good espescially with a dc header and a test pipe.
