I want to Do a Build Thread but have some Random questions first.
Ok so i will either buy a Ej1 or Eg or i will get my bros Ej2.
Either way i am planing to have the car for a while 2years +
plan on doing:
engine swap, K series if i find a nice deal, if not B series probably
Full paint job, interior, exterior, engine bay
Coilovers, all that suspension stuff to make it work.
Wire tuck
And all the other things people do during builds.
BUT i have some questions because i always like to figure stuff out before i get into it.
First off how much do people spend on builds, doing nothing crazy .. like turbo or k series ect...
IS it possible to get good/decent results painting a car yourself.
How much are welders and how hard is it to weld, those random holes in the engine bay...
Last but not least. The engine swap.
How well does a k series motor go in these bays,
How to people know exactly where to weld in the new mounts?
what kind of axels are needed with this swap?
does the wiring from the k series motor wire up with the cars wiring or will it consist of alot of wireing work?
im sure i have more questions and will add on .
