how much is this worth>?
Ill put it this way, I picked my car up.. 1999 civic ex all stock 87k miles for $1000. ran perfect. nothing aftermarket. very clean interior. problem.. hit on the driver side. needed a bumper, a headlight, a fender, airbags, and some straightening under the hood. You could probably compare yours to that since it doesnt run.
1) Get us some more pictures because it looks to me like it needs alot of work to straighten out that hood.
2). Get a ratchet on the crank and see if the motor turns.
3) are you sure its a 1998 because it has the 99-00 tail lights as well. could have been switched or something but just thought id say something.

that is a good price but you have to remember he is in pa your in ct i have lived in both states and trust me ct is a lot pricier for EVERYTHING lol, compare to other civics in your area(craigslist / classafieds) for what a car like that is going for in good cond. but in general imo i wouldnt pay more than 800, maybe 1000 if they are willing to inc the parts you need gl

i would not pay 1700 for it but would definatly buy it for 1400 or so. it looks very fixable. when you go to turn the crank with the socket, take the plugs out. will make it easier to turn.
