Default Keeping the B alive--11.27 @ 119 All Motor !!UPDATED!!

This weekend, we ran our personal best of 11.27 @ 119, in our 90 Civic Hatchback. LS VTEC. The car was in NOPI Pure Street trim (exhaust, interior) weighing 2070lbs with driver. The car recently went 11.37 @ 120 and also ran consistent 11.30s this weekend. We are hoping to find a little more power and improve our ET. Just wanted to post this for all the B Series guys still out there trying to compete with the K's.!!!UPDATED PAGE 3!!!

Steve @ Import Sports is the man

He is probably one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I know. . .

I remember hearing someone say - this B series makes K power . .

i know they have been around for a while, i live maybe a half hour from them, and i hope they are better now

a few years ago my buddy took his eclipse there to have a turbo kit installed and it took them a month to install it, and they gave it back not running right, they couldnt properly install the kit and get it to run right, it was a freakin bolt on kit for a gs model

That definitely wasnt steve's work . . .

Steve could hand fabricate a turbo kit in a month. Hell he could even weave the steel braided lines in that long.

Thanks for all the positive comments. We've been working very hard to try and make the car competitive.

That's unfortunate that you or any of your friends had a bad experience, but I have owned the shop for 3 years now and we have made a lot of changes to re-establish the reputation of the shop from the previous owner. Please feel free to stop by and check us out.

Now back to business....the setup is:
92 x 86 LS Vtec 14:1
Pro port cylinder head (Justice Racing Engines)
Skunk2 Pro3 Cams
Skunk2 Intake Manifold (ported)
Replica big tube header
3.5in exhaust
Cable Trans
Hondata S300 (Tempest Tuned)

We ran 11.30 with a 4.4 final drive and now we are using a 4.7 and that seems to put the car where it needs to be through the traps.
