.... since I bought my GS-R back last June. For 5 years before that I drove a base model 1989 Camry that was handed down to me from my mom back when I turned 16 (on which I wasted way too much money trying to mod it into something it would never be ). This is the first car I have ever owned myself, and now, as of this past Tuesday, it has become the first car I have ever PAID FOR IN FULL 100% by ME!

Just had to share some enthusiasm with you guys, because it is a GREAT feeling! It's also great to know what this will do for my credit rating, and being able to get future car loans and eventually buy a house, etc.

 

good job man, feels good not being sponsored by team mom and dad huh. earning aka busting my a$$ everything for my car gives me so much more pride then having my parents pay for it.

Wow I am exactly like you except 1 year behind. I got a 91' camry V6 when i turned 16 about a year ago.(handed down from the rents) And I have been saving up money to buy a car since then. Today, I finished up my small loan, got the check, cleared out my bank account, and tomorrow, I am picking up my 98' GSR in Charlotte!!!! I should have teh car paid off by the end of the year. I know exactly how you feel patrick, it's awesome!!
