Default MOMO Coarse exhaust replacement help !!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on an old MOMO Coarse Exhaust for the 88 si. Well, it is about the die. The pipe going into the muffler is rusted out. I dont know if anyone has heard it before, but it is an awesome sounding exhaust. The intake is was louder than the exhaust. Very clean and smooth sounding.

I have been having a hell of a time trying to find something to replace it with. Does anyone know of anything that sounds that good, or is everything going to be the typical.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I had the same on my 95 integra. I am assuming that it sounds similar to yours. The momo just does not have an typical exhaust tone. It sounds like stock, just alittle louder but still makes power. I hope that I am not ***'ed out in this. I found my original post when I was going to buy this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=491955.
any other ideas? rsr? custom? and if custom with what muffler?

You could probably take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld in some new pipe. I dont think the pipe is anything special, is it? If the rest of the exhaust is in good condition, thats the route id take.

I went to a local exhaust shop and the whole is too rusted out where the pipe goes into the muffler. The guy said to go with a borla muffler and piping for the rear section. They are crazy though. They wanted $350 for the muffler, axel back piping and tip. I thought that was nutz. Do any of you guys have experience with the borla muffler?
thanks guys

I'm not a huge fan of borla/magnaflow for one reason:There made by a company who target market is ford and chevy cars. From what my buddy said his Borla muffler"Blew out" on him after 3 months.Supposebly the matterial in the inside of there mufflers isn't mean for high revving and vtec etc....The local shops only sell you the "****"They can get in quickly......just my 2 cents.I'd recommend apexi ws2
