and i got my first 11sec. pass, 11.976@118.29mph to be exact. then right after w/o cooling the car down i ran 12.075@117.75 with even a better 60'.
first round of eliminations i dialed in a 12.0 and ran a 12.146@106 which was not good enough for the guy running a 14.398 on a 14.36 dial in...i still lead in points. :D

Nice time man...congrats. So 320whp is what you made when running the 11.97? What does the car weigh with you in it? Great times ....good job.

 

320 is just a number and not a very accurate one. last year with a boosted SOHC it weight in at 2330lbs on a half tank and w/o me in it, im 190lbs.

this year im yet to race on a half tank do to going through a lot of e85 at the track and im 10-15miles away from home, even further from the nearest e85 station.

Why isnt 320 a very accurate number? Did you not tune the car on a dyno?

 

no, i just did a few pulls to make sure my timing was good. i have boost issues do to my drag mani and the dyno puts a very different load on the car compared to the street. on the dyno i was in the 10's and on the street i was at around 11.8 afr.

the 60ft isnt amazing but its the 1/8 mile time that i found really good on your 11 sec pass....

now i know what my car can run!!!

ive got a couple of friends that have cut low 1.8's on the BFG's...that 11 sec pass was really good....im quessing it spun a little bit in 2nd and then it took off.. 7.7 is pretty damn good!!

 

i cut a 1.79 60' with these tires last year with my boosted SOHC. they are 3 years old and not griping like they use to. my best this year on this setup is a 1.86. im happy with that.
