Need Help, motor problem w/Z6
Wsup Everyone,
I'm in need of some help, I have a Z6 swap on my 91 Civic. The car sat in my garage for at least 6 months without being started. I just recently started and drove it. Now my problem is, that the car is now chocking crazy. When you suddenly accelerate the car it will choke. I tried putting in fuel injection cleaner and still did not work. Can someone please help me out..

Humm try doing a full tune up on it and see if that works.
My Mitsubishi sat for over a year and it ran really bad after I got it started with new gas after a full tune up it was back to normal.

I had my car sit for a complete year (1/4 tank, ~3 gallons ). At first, I just added good gas (5 gallon) on top of the old... ran like complete ****. Drained the entire fuel tank by the drain bolt in the rear driverside, then added a few gallons of good fuel. Changed plugs and was good to go. If you just added new gas on top of 1/2 a full tank old gas, all the water that built up over time and bad gas still remains in the mix refusing to burn well. Best to drain tank and tune up
Sucks that gas only last a month or two once we get it. 3-4 month shelf life total including time in the gas station tanks IIRC.

Change the fuel filter. If that doesn't work, pull your fuel pump and check the filter bag on it. Also If you have to pull the fuel pump then disconnect the fuel filter up front and blow air through the line from the tank to the filter, but make sure you put something over the end as you don't want to blow fuel all over your motor.
