Hi,
I have a 1990 civic si. I recently found a special edition and took all the power window gear, motors, wiring harness, fuse box and switches etc. I’m hoping to install these in my si.
Does anyone have any experience in this field?? I’m a little “electrically impaired” if you know what I mean so any help will be greatly appreciated, wiring diagrams, hints or does and don’t.

heres the list of what you'll need.

all motors/regulators
all switches
door panels to match
floor harness (connects everything from dash to taillights)
main harness (behind dash and goes through firewall to headlights on both sides)
under dash harness with fuse box
all door harnesses

I'm actually going through this with my 91 4dr but i'm also adding power mirrors and power locks. i actually have a dx with a perfect body and a lx with a shitty body, so i'm taking EVERYTHING out of the lx and installing it in the dx. gotta have my creature-features. lol. any specific questions, let me know. good luck

 

I though the 4dr power windows would be different then the 2dr hatch power window setup...I took everything out of the SE that had anything to do with the power windows. I also plan on cutting my current door panels.
