any idea what it is or what i should look for in his braking system or what cause this noise?

The wear indicator on the brake pads?
As you are backing up is it a high pitched squeal almost like fingernails on a chalkboard but metallic? Does it go away when the brakes are applied?

Definitely a brake pad wear indicator.
Just for future reference, when making a video to illustrate a noise your car is making turn the radio off before you start.

About the only other thing I've heard produce a similar noise is a rock trapped between the rotor and dust shield.
But after hearing that noise pretty much every day for over 5 years I would put my money on the wear indicator.
