strange but a quick fix would be a 5mm spacer

I had rubbing issues too but I was on stock suspension. I found out it was the wheel weights that was mounted on the inside.

215/45's is what comes stock on JDM ITR's. Shouldn't have any problems with rubbing if you're running on stock suspension. if its lowered, you'll need to roll your fenders and get an aftermarket rear camber kit to keep the tire from rubbing on the rear upper arm since its smaller

you just need to change your wheels weights, mine did this same thing when i put the JDM 16's on my car,
you need the weights that stick to the inside of the wheels, not the ones that clip on to the inside lip if the wheels,
or a 5mm spacer, either way it's a quick fix,

Read carefully. His tires aren't rubbing. The rubbing is caused by wheel weights on his wheels. So the tire size doesn't matter; it's not the tires that are rubbing.

If that's the only place there's rubbing, use the other kind of wheel weight. If the rubbing is on bang-on wheel weights on the lip of the rim, then remove them and balance the wheels using stick-on wheel weights on the inside of the rim. And if the rubbing is from stick-on weights, switch to bang-on weights.

Like Sfedai0, I had a set of stock (15") wheels with stick-on weights mounted on the inside of the rim, and they interfered with the front calipers. So I switched to bang-on weights, no problems now.

EDIT: I typed this while Reyes was posting the same thing...

The wheel weights on the inside will rub. I had the same problem. You can move the weights to the inner lip.

my rubbing was due to the wheel weights as well. Took the inner wheel weights off and there was no rubbing.

hub centric is best if you can find one.. you don't need the h&r w/ studs.
