So, i bought an SI Cluster from the Junkyard, It has less miles than my original cluster, and i was wondering if i would be able to roll forward the odometer to the miles of my original cluster, or would i be able to swap the odometer between clusters? Had the Non-Tach STD Cluster.
just tell them that the speedo or gas gauge stopped working if they ask q's. i'm going to have the same problem... i'm loosing about 115,xxx when i switch gauge clusters...
Im pretty sure you dont have to show them the cluster, you just need to tell them how many miles are on the car. Just make sure you dont leave that cluster in the car if you ever sell it, or if you do, tell the next guy how many miles are REALLY on the car, otherwise youll get [freak]ed for odometer fraud.
My crx came with a note on the title that the spedo cable had been disconnected and that miles are not acurate
no problems with smog, just a check box and explanation in the title form
no big deal
plus I would be worried about the wear and tear I would be putting on the odo by manually spinning yrs of miles on it in a few minutes (that would be like drivining 6-700MPH???)
