Do you need to replace the cable or just adjust it?

The tighter you make the nut on the cable the higher on the pedal your clutch will grab. If it is overtightened, even a good clutch will slip. What information are you exactly needing? Changing the cable to a new one or just attaching it to the tranny or what?

The cable isn't that expensive, but what I usually do, is pick on the throwout bearing lever to free up and slack adjust it so you can moe that lever about a quarter of an inch. If it's too tight you'll wear out the trowout bearing, and maybe strectch the cable. Not that hard, make sure your clutch isn't worn out!
