Default Performance Parts for Base 06 RSX auto

Site or links to where I can get exhaust system, cai, rh, etc. for my car thats legit?

Also whats the difference between getting just a universale muffler from getting the whole exhaust system? Performance? Sound?

How much power are you going to want when "done" modding? I suggest a swap or manual conv + boost.

Honestly, just save your money to make it look good. It's an automatic. You may get a couple of HP here or there, but is it really worth spending $1500 for 6 hp?

I know this is your first car (I believe you said that), but really--just take your time with it. For example, this is what I might do to that car:

-A-Spec suspension setup ($650)
-Nice 16" or 17" wheels ($800)
-Performance tires (Azenis, etc) ($500)
-06 Type-S rear swaybar ($100)
-Hondata airbox mod with K&N filter ($45 for filter)(http://www.hondata.com/techkseriesairboxmod.html)

Don't spend a lot on an exhaust, because honestly, a loud exhaust on an automatic 4-cylinder sounds like crap. And it won't add much HP. If you want a better looking exhaust, get a rear section from a 05-06 Type-S.

Focus on handling, and with the above your car will handle much better with the suspension and swaybar. And look a lot better too.

These were all in the list towards the first few things I were going to get. (Wheels, tires, suspension mostly)

But I wanted to add a nice sound to my rsx when I drive so I want a decent exhaust that'll make it sound nice and not ricey. And Im debating between buying the whole system or just a muffler since I'm not really sought after the performance more of the look/sound of it. Thanks again Todd00 for input/comments/help

Have a muffler shop get rid of the last resonator on the B-pipe. That'll make your OEM exhaust sound much better. Not ricey, but very sporty. I need to upload a clip of what it sounds like.

And you can use that $400+ you'd spend on an exhaust toward suspension, A-spec lip, etc.

What kind of performance gains will I get with that Hondata Airbox mod?

Also getting a muffler itself will lower my mileage?

Did you follow the link I posted?

Also, no bumping.

A new muffler, or exhaust, will pretty much only make noise on that car.

Amen to that. My 91 Integra had Magnaflow fart cannon, custom catback system, and I just replaced it with the stock system due to a fix-it (dumbass CHiPper, did me a favor), and it actually pulls more than it used to. The piping was 2.5" all the way through, and it was flowing so much that I was losing power in the mid-range and my power only came near the redline. Plus, my car's an automatic too.
