2000 accord coupe clock light doesnt work what could it be?
the clock works but the light does not, i just bought the car didnt know if it was supposed to come on with the headlights or not. is there a bulb inside of it, or a separate fuse for it? how do you get the clock out?
happened to me too. i havent replaced it though because my radio has a clock on it and really don't need two things telling me the time. its the bulb though, its a common problem. take out the center dash, there are two screws on the bottom below the radio and the rest are clips. just pop it out and replace the bulb.

No screws to remove. The 2000 Accord clock just pops out.

thanks alot for the help guys, i popped it out no problem, that bulb is small as hell now i just gotta wait till monday so i can stop by honda and grab one
it was the tiny bulb that has a plastic back that screws into the back of the clock on the top corner. i asked for a clock bulb when i went to honda and they gave me the same thing that i took out.
Well I don't recall how old this thread is, but I have the same problem. Bulb did not fix it. Took the assembly apart and poked around in there with a meter using my official honda manual to help....still can't decipher the snag. there are a couple flushmounted resistors and a couple diodes and an I.C. so I don't want to imagine how much this thing costs to replace, but it's bugging me every day so I'll be taking the book into work to have someone look at the schematics and see what he says. I could find no fault with the power or ground at the five pin plug, or thru the other pins - 'hot in on and start' pin etc. I'll try to post again.
