steering feel improvement
any idea on how to improve the feel of an Accord's steering inout and feedback. the input sensitivity on my 5th gen sucks!! Don't know whether its 150K on the car or whether it sucks by design. My friends' civics and preludes don't feel nearly as crappy. Please insert opinions below.
what about the bearings? I know prothane and energy suspensions makes polyuerethane replacements for the civics. if I found one for the accord do you think it would help?
since the accord does not have a subframe per sae, there are only so many things you can do
get a better rack
if you are on 14" rims change to 15" or 16" to eliminate tire flex
changing your suspension bushings will not really give you what you are looking for but it will make the car handle better
replace the engine tranny mounts or add some poly inserts

personally I think that the accord has awesome steering.... weight of the car has a lot to do with steering feel.....civics are lighter and therefore easie to move around when you change steering input
You can get a smaller steering wheel. I think getting a larger power steering pulley might help, but not quite sure hwo the PS system works to really see if that would tighten up the feel. I also think wider tires would imcrease the steering resistance, so it might feel a lil better.
