Possibility to fix carbon fiber?
My spoon carbon fiber lip got a little scratched up on the front. I was just wondering if there would be any possible way to fix the carbon fiber. If not, how could i go about fixing these scratches, or can i not? Any info appreciated. Thanks.
not really sure and i don't wanna give you false info but here's a thought. how bout that clear epoxy they use for crafts and stuff like that? i've seen them cover up wood and whatnot and it gives it that glossy clear looks. maybe you can get some of that and fill in the scratches and then just sand & polish. not sure but i think its worth a try
yes you can patch it. you will need to get a clear resin for cf. then sand hte scratches and put the new resing int he scratch. then you will have to sand down the resin patch till it's flush wiht the rest of the lip. the sand and buff the lip. can be done but that right there take at least 2 days. i would just fill it in with generic resin and then sand and paint it.
