Just wanted to let everyone know that Gary Gardella and the Gardella racing team is heading out to the ADRL race at Motor Mile Dragway in Radford, VA. The event will be July 4th and 5th. Good luck Gary!

Man, if I didnt have to work early sunday it would be worth it to drive up there.

Yes. He did tell me that they will be making it down to the ADRL race at MIR.

I'm probably out of the loop here, but I didn't think that ADRL had a FWD class?

im guessing that gary & jason will be laying the foundation for a fwd class in the future.

they don't have a specific FWD class

but the ProFWD and even Hot Rod cars can fall into the 10.5" tire class -- same class Titan runs. They won't necessarily be the front runners of the class but showing up is half the battle and I am sure they will bring a lot of attention racing in the ADRL series -- and if more and more FWD cars show up who knows where it goes from there...

I am flying up to the ADRL MIR event with the Titan guys...can't wait

yes, they still have to run the finals from the Michigan race that got rained out...and since that race was the Arm Drop race to finish up that final round ADRL with Arm Drop the start of the Final Race between Gary and Brent

 

i'm going tomorrow to check it out.went to this race last year and had a lot of fun.

He's Qualified #9 as far as the first qualifier goes, he's in the extreme 10.5 class...you can keep an eye on this link for details as they run.

What a great event this is. Everyone out here is showing sport compact mad love. I have not stopped answering questions for the past 2 days. Check out adrl.us for event coverage. Take a look how many people were in the bleachers for the test and tune. 2 hour test session before qualifying. Its been raining all morning and it does not look good for today. If it gets rained out today they will go into tomorrow. I will try my best to keep everyone updated.
