how long was the drive?

 

depends where you started driving but lol it was about hour and half from my location
friend ITR0842 came to visit me from toronto

 

"Tip of Canada", LOL! I thought maybe it was going to be the Gaspe Peninsula, or maybe St. John's Newfoundland, which really IS the tip of Canada...

 

I like the shots. Good stuff.

it's probably about 2 n half hours to 3 hrs from gta area

yeah it is tip of canada.. it's the most southern part of canada.

Some tip. I swear, if that's what they call it, Canadians probably couldn't even find the tip of their... Never mind.

Seriously, though - look at the map. St. John's (actually, Cape Spear, just outside of town) is the easternmost point, now THAT'S a tip.

So is the northernmost point, in Nunavut, off the northern coast of Greenland. But I wouldn't try to drive there.

BTW, Point Pelee is not the southernmost point in Canada. It's the southernmost point on the Canadian mainland. The southernmost point in Canada is Middle Island, an island which, despite lying in Canadian waters, was privately owned by U.S. owners until it was sold in 1999 to the Nature Conservancy and donated to the Canadian national park system the following year.
