Some tip. I swear, if that's what they call it, Canadians probably couldn't even find the tip of their... Never mind.
Seriously, though - look at the map. St. John's (actually, Cape Spear, just outside of town) is the easternmost point, now THAT'S a tip.
So is the northernmost point, in Nunavut, off the northern coast of Greenland. But I wouldn't try to drive there.

BTW, Point Pelee is not the southernmost point in Canada. It's the southernmost point on the Canadian mainland. The southernmost point in Canada is Middle Island, an island which, despite lying in Canadian waters, was privately owned by U.S. owners until it was sold in 1999 to the Nature Conservancy and donated to the Canadian national park system the following year.
