Default Rocky Mountain Raceways Press Release

Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley City, Utah will host the "SIN" event, "SUMMER IMPORT NATIONALS" on July 18th and 19th to replace the originally scheduled NOPI National event. RMR will feature the Sport Compact participants in Pro FWD, Hot Rod, All Motor and Turbo Street along with Top Sportsman, Top Dragster and Motorcycle/Snowmobile and bracket classes. We will also have a Life Style event with Swim Suit Competition, Bands and Drifting with Drift Association Pro-Am series drifters.

RMR will also run an Import and Domestic non electronics qualifier on Friday to determine the closest group of 16 participants between 10.00 and 14.00 seconds. Then on Saturday the 16 qualified for each class will run heads-up for "King of the Mountain" in each class, the two winners will then run off for "Track Dominator". All non qualifiers will run in their respective bracket class.

Friday night will feature qualifying for Pro FWD, Hot Rod, All Motor and Turbo Street prior to the STS "Midnight Drags" that will run from 11 pm to 2 am. Qualifying and eliminations will continue Saturday for all classes.

Come up and support! Tell the PFI and park boys to come race!!

The midnight turnouts are insane, so the qualifying for friday night will be most likely in front of 3 thousand plus spactators!
